  • We are your single point of contact for:

  • Patient complaints

  • Finding CMA resources and obtaining CMA products

  • Getting information about legislation and current CMA positions

We review all patient complaints received and respond as your local intermediary, potentially saving a small disagreement with you from becoming a serious issue brought to the attention of a government agency.

Many of you direct patients to us when you discharge them from care.

We perform local Medical Peer review for malpractice cases.

We are your primary voice at CMA meetings, and we are heard. (For an independent assessment, you can contact Chris Stincelli at our central district office at 916-452-2671

How does YSCMS spend your money? At about 100 members, you can see that our annual budget just barely pays for a highly skilled individual to run the association. However, we also manage to pay expenses (mail, P O Box, office space) and fund our representatives to CMA functions to maintain our voice in the CMA, keep our connectivity with CMA staff, and keep updated on CMA activities. How would members feel about a $25 or $50 increase so that we could have a web presence and increase our local activities?
